Every Wednesday five guys meet at their rehearsal studio in Oslo east.
The amps warm up, the guitars are tuned, throat cleared and the second
the sound of drumsticks counting in a song Jack Stillwater comes
alive...
The band Jack Stillwater, with their relative short history, are
preparing the release of their first album Jack Stillwater.
Since the recording of the album way back in 2007 the band has evolved
both personally and musically. In the rehearsal studio Terje, Morten,
Lars Even, Erlend and Ståle meet up to take Jack Stillwater to new
heights. The boys come from different backgrounds from around Norway and
their musical preferences range from country via grunge and rock, to
hard rock/metal. This opens up new and exciting musical possibilities
the band knows how to take advantage of. The music has been described as
romantic, intense, melodic and powerful by their fans, while the band
describes the music as down to earth, real and dynamic. The Jack
Stillwater songs takes you on a journey through hope, dreams, happiness
and sorrow. When the last chord rings out in the rehearsal studio the
boys are ready to bring the Jack Stillwater experience to you.
The ten songs on their first album reflects ten years of
songwriting. Terje writes the outline of the songs and together with the
band the song is completed through the Jack Stillwater factory. The
album Jack Stillwater is their story, but there are many
stories yet to be told...
